First-year students Ronica Marandi and Goli Kavoosi organized the rally in partnership with �������ϲ�����’s Women's Center and the School of Peace and Conflict Studies to raise awareness about the atrocities that are happening in Iran. 

The �������ϲ����� Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new master’s degree that will help meet two decades of sustained growth in the broad field of conflict studies. The new Peace and Conflict Studies major within the Master of Arts degree will be offered in person on the Kent Campus and will prepare students for careers as practitioners in the fields of peace and conflict management and for doctorate study.

A standing-room-only crowd gathered to hear �������ϲ����� alumna Mahtab Tehrani, Ph.D., and first-year student Goli Kavoosi, discuss how the denial of human rights in Iran impacts us all and the tangible actions that Americans can take to help.

Vaneet Kaur, Ph.D., assistant professor of Management and Information Systems at �������ϲ�����’s Stark Campus recently was featured in The Repository, Canton, Ohio newspaper for her work on promoting business ideas to help the local economy. 

This November, members of the �������ϲ����� community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, �������ϲ�����’s Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across �������ϲ�����’s eight-campus system.
