Bernice King, daughter of the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., was frank and direct as she shared insights into racism in America today and her father’s legacy as keynote speaker of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.

Students learned about employment opportunities on campus at a student employment fair in January.

Students seeking jobs on campus attended a student employment fair at the Kent Student Center. 

Beth Smerchansky, a maintenance facility worker at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, will earn a certificate after serving in a training program led by the Association of Building Contractors right on campus.

As a public relations major, alumna Taylor Pierce interviewed iconic singer/songwriter David Crosby when he visited the May 4 Visitors Center in 2017. Crosby died this week at the age of 81.
