McNair Scholars

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ has received a five-year renewal of the the McNair Program grant. This program helps put first-generation students, like Brian Johnson, Destiny Ezeliora and Imani Reynolds on the path to doctoral degrees.

CEL Accepts Community Impact: Group Award on Behalf of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Community

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Community Engaged Learning partnered with the United Way of Portage county to make reading fun for children, and in doing so, CEL has been recognized by the United Way of Portage County as the recipients of the 2022 Community Impact: Group Award for its commitment to transforming lives in the community.

Kent’s newest business, the Cleveland Bagel Café, is now serving customers on the edge of campus.

The greatly anticipated Cleveland Bagel Café opened this week on East Main Street in Kent and will begin regular operating hours on Monday, September 12.

The 2022 Fall Semester is officially underway, and no new school year would be complete without KSU Kickoff. Residence halls move-in corresponded with KSU Kickoff check-in, which was followed by three days of activities on and off campus.
