°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ has again been recognized as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2022 by Forbes and market research company Statista. In Ohio, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ ranks No. 3 among the top 100 employers in Ohio, landing above such notable employers as Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, both located in Cleveland.

For a third consecutive year, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ has been selected as one the nation’s top universities for LGBTQ+ students for creating a safe, welcoming environment for students, faculty and staff, according to Campus Pride, a leading resource for LGBTQ+ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement won 19 marketing and communications awards since the launch of the Forever Brighter comprehensive campaign.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement launched the university’s most ambitious fundraising campaign, called Forever Brighter, last October, creating communications and fundraising materials that share the remarkable impact of alumni engagement and donor philanthropy on the university. The division has earned 19 marketing and communications awards from multiple competitions.

Among the top 100 public institution programs, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ is recognized in the Best Nursing Schools: Master’s Programs, Best Education Schools, Best Mathematics Programs, Best Psychology Schools, Best Public Health Programs and Best Physics Schools rankings. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ is also recognized in an additional five new national rankings.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ continues to exemplify leadership in its mission to support students as the Kent Campus is designated as a Military Friendly® School for the 13th consecutive year in a row, earning a Gold award. In addition, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ at Trumbull earned a Silver award.

The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education has awarded °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ the esteemed R1 status for research, which is the highest recognition that doctoral universities can receive. The prestigious designation affirms °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s place as an elite research institution and puts the university in the company of universities such as Yale, Harvard and the University of California-Berkeley.
