U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan presented °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ nursing major Austin Croft with the Congressional Award Silver Medal on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mr. Croft, of Akron, Ohio, was recognized at a ceremony that took place at the College of Nursing where he was praised for his dedication to improving himself and his community.
The Ohio History Connection’s State Historic Preservation Office Awards has recognized °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ with a 2018 Public Education and Awareness Award.
In a class by itself, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ is the only public university in Northeast Ohio to be ranked in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.
°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s strategic focus on the health and well-being of students is receiving national recognition. Active Minds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising mental health awareness among college students, announced °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ as a winner of the prestigious 2018 Healthy Campus Award.
