Women's History Month

Are you an organization or office/department who is looking to host an event/program in observance of °Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ?

The Women’s Center, along with various members of our university community, is excited to host programs that educate, advocate, and empower for gender equity by creating and implementing a wide variety of programs/initiatives in celebration of °Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó and we would love to encourage our campus community to join us and to submit events.

°Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó will be observed March 1 – March 31.

°Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó is a dedicated month to reflect on the often-overlooked contributions of women to United States history. This year's them focuses on "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion" It recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions. While we honor those expeditionaries who paved the way, we also celebrate and acknowledge the history being made today as we look forward to a more equitable future for all!

  1. Tag it with Signature Programs and °Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó to ensure it is featured on the °Â´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±á¾±²õ³Ù´Ç°ù²â&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù³ó website.
