Financial Aid Checklist

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Tuscarawas provides information to help facilitate the financial aid process, in order to make it as simple as possible. Our Financial Aid Checklists provide steps to guide you through your journey to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. 

SELECT YOUR FINANCIAL AID CHECKLIST

Choose one of the following three checklists, based on when you plan on enrolling:

Starting Summer 2024

DECEMBER – MARCH

  • APPLY FOR ADMISSION
    • Easily apply online - there is no application fee!
    • Submit official transcript(s). Transcripts must come directly from the school.
    • Submit test scores (optional, but recommended).
  • FIRST-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS
    • First-year students who are accepted by March 1 will automatically be considered for need- and merit-based scholarships. Check website for additional scholarship opportunities.
    • Students filing the FAFSA for the first time need to create an account, an FSA ID.
    • One or more parents may need an FSA ID as well, depending on dependency and tax filing status. 
    • For verification purposes, create your FSA ID at least 3 business days prior to submitting FAFSA
    • Complete the FAFSA early each year to be considered for all federal financial aid funding.

    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Finances > Scholarships & Financial Aid > Title IV Federal Aid Authorization > Check both boxes
    • This release allows named individual(s) to gain access to view your financial and/or all academic and advising records. 
    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Resources > Requests and Authorizations > Grant Online FERPA Authorization
    • Creating an account will match you to eligible scholarships that you can apply to receive at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. 
    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Finances > Scholarships & Financial Aid > ScholarshipUniverse

APRIL – MAY

    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Finances > Scholarships & Financial Aid > Financial Aid Awards > 2024-2025 > Accept Award Offer (you must visit the Terms & Conditions tab before viewing/accepting aid)
    • Financial Aid Status > Be sure to check for any unsatisfied requirements or active messages.
  • IF BORROWING A FEDERAL DIRECT STUDENT LOAN, COMPLETE THESE TWO STEPS: 
    • 1.

  • SUBMIT FINAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT 
    • Submit to the Office of Admissions as soon as the final transcript is available. 
    • Transfer Students: You must submit your final high school transcript if you are transferring in less than 12 credit hours.
    • Report any external scholarships, tuition assistance or reimbursement that you will receive. 
    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Finances > Scholarships & Financial Aid > Report Outside/External Funding > 2024-2025 > Resources/Additional Information
    • Payment details and tuition due dates will be emailed.
    • Sign in to FlashLine > Student > Finances > Tuition and Payments > My Student Account Detail > Select Summer 2024 
      • To provide a parent/guardian/advocate access to see this same information, grant KSUview access by clicking on the KSUview tab.
    • Make refund delivery selection to use BankMobile or apply direct deposit to an existing bank account.
    • This cannot be set up until 24 hours after course registration occurs.
Starting Fall 2024
