The Wick family has a long history of philanthropy at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ that began in 1984 when brothers Bob and Walt Wick first established scholarships to support undergraduate poets at the university. This most recent gift of $1 million brings the family’s total lifetime commitment to the university to more than $3.5 million.

Planting bulbs on Daffodil Hill has become part of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's annual Veteran's Day Commemoration. 

Golden I Jewish student group held a vigil in which they read the names of the Israeli people killed by Hamas Oct. 7.

The goal of the Golden I vigil was to acknowledge that the Israeli people who were brutally murdered were real people with real lives, said Rose Martyn, vice president of Golden I.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ paid formal tribute to all those who have served in the U.S. armed forces at its annual Veterans Day Commemoration. 

The Rev. Larry L. Macon Jr., J.D., has been appointed to the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.

Senior business major Matthew Helmick-Bickel served in the U.S. Army five years ago.

Matthew Helmick-Bickel, 29, spent five years in the U.S. Army as an airborne paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina, now known as Fort Liberty, before he enrolled at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ in 2020.

Window glass is being installed on Crawford Hall, which will soon be the new home of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
