�������ϲ����� hosts a symbolic ribbon-tying event celebrating the establishment of the new �������ϲ����� College of Podiatric Medicine, formerly known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. .

The Small Business Development Center at �������ϲ����� at Stark and the Stark Development Board are proud to announce the Entrepreneur Experience, a series of events and seminars to encourage the professional practices of entrepreneurs at all levels. The first event in the series will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at The University Center at �������ϲ����� Stark, 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.

�������ϲ����� and the full-time, tenure-track faculty unit of the American Association of University Professors-�������ϲ����� Chapter (AAUP-KSU) are pleased to announce that a new, three-year collective bargaining agreement has been ratified. The �������ϲ����� Board of Trustees held a special board meeting last week in Independence, Ohio, at the university’s new College of Podiatric Medicine to complete the ratification process for a successor collective bargaining agreement for tenure-track and tenured faculty. The Board unanimously approved the new contract.

Faculty, mark your calendars!  Information Services will once again kick off the start of the fall semester with dedicated faculty tech help sessions.  This year’s “Technology Tune-Up” sessions were organized to help faculty with their Blackboard Learn courses, plus resolve any password and Internet issues before the start of the semester.

The LeAnn Rimes Acoustic concert, originally scheduled for July 26, has been rescheduled for Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at �������ϲ����� at Tuscarawas. Rimes had cancelled the July 26 date due to an emergency medical procedure.

University Libraries’ website has a new look. A team composed  of library faculty and staff members, and members of University Communication and Marketing’s Web team have been working on the redesign project for more than a year.

Nominations for the fourth annual President’s Excellence Award will be accepted beginning today (Aug. 13) through Sept. 14.

Representatives from the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) will be at �������ϲ����� on two days next week for town hall meetings on about the proposed pension reform legislation and proposed changes to health care coverage.
