objectives

Collaborative Research Network for Safe & Resilient Infrastructures
    • diversify, broaden and expand the community of researchers in SHM in Latin American universities;
    • foster peer-to-peer linkages between worldwide researchers developing these methods, and those that will benefit most from their implementation in countries with emerging economic challenges;
    • increase the capacity for incorporating SHM methods into research laboratories;
    • accelerate the rate at which young researchers and students can gain experience and contribute to research efforts to use these methods;
    • cultivate international collaborations to share knowledge and enable access to resources; and
    • provide motivation for and mechanisms to share virtual materials such as open-source data, models, techniques, and tools across laboratories and disciplinary boundaries
