The video included Golden Flashes quarterback Dustin Crum, wide receiver Isaac Vance and defensive end Zayin West who each thanked those who continue to work behind the scenes and on the frontline to keep the ϲ community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This commercial was produced by ϲ's University Communications and Marketing staff.
West shouted out Michelle Brautigan, Administrative Clerk for Resident Services, Joshua Dedeaux, Chef Manager, and Angela Neal-Barnett, Professor of Psychology for all they do for the University.
Vance thanked Andrea Smith, Groundskeeper, Zipporah Cole, Custodial Worker, and Metin Erin, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, for keeping ϲ safe and healthy.
President Diacon ended the commercial by sincerely thanking “all ϲ frontline workers and professors for their outstanding efforts to ensure a safe and healthy educational experience for all Golden Flashes.”
This video recognizing and thanking these ϲ MVPs debuted on and first aired on television Nov. 4 on ESPN+ during the team’s season opening win over Eastern Michigan.
