Title IX Celebrates 50 Years

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ is honoring and commemorating the 50th anniversary of Title IX legislation with a year-long celebration, highlighting the success and impact of women's athletics at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ.

The United Nations describes International Day of Peace as a day devoted to strengthening the ideas of peace through observing 24 hours of nonviolence and cease-fire. At °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, students, faculty, staff and alumni celebrated the day with an international soccer tournament.

This past summer, two °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students were awarded medals in the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the country. It is the highest level at which figure skating takes place at the college level.
