In 2020, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ President Todd Diacon announced to a group of high school juniors and their families that °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ would cover four years of tuition costs and one year of room and board. Now, for the LeBron James Family Foundation’s first I PROMISE class, the hard work these students had put in since third grade is paying off.

As a young refugee, Yun "Mi Mi" Khaing, a recent °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ graduate, has not only overcome significant challenges during her time in the United States, but she’s also helping others in similar circumstances.

Freshman year can be a little stressful, even for a faculty member. But Raiful Hasan, Ph.D., who just completed his first year as an assistant professor of computer science at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, is feeling content and excited for the next academic year.
As a high school senior just three years ago, Hannah Fender was not overly excited about attending °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. Now, she loves it so much, she’s staying for graduate school.
