The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the updated °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Complete College Ohio Campus Completion Plan as part of a state and institutional commitment to increase dramatically the number of college degrees awarded in Ohio. The plan was approved during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held May 22.

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative at 1309 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, in Cleveland to consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business.

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. The Board also approved recommended actions for the East Main Street Project in Kent and a naming action.

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new cybercriminology major within the Bachelor of Science degree at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 6. The new cybercriminology major will be offered fully online, in addition to a mostly online delivery at all °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ campuses.

The Rev. Larry L. Macon Jr., J.D., has been appointed to the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Board of Trustees approved a revised tuition rate for students enrolled at the university’s College of Podiatric Medicine at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus.
