Because of digital convergence, we now receive all of these media in the same way鈥攙ia powerful computers we hold in the palm of our hands. However, convergence has bred confusion about distinctions between media types. Posts on social media are now called 鈥渘ews,鈥 while newspapers are now called 鈥渇ake.鈥
