Disability Rights, Education, Activism and Mentoring
DREAM is an organization for those with disabilities and allies of the disability community. Its' purpose is to provide a community to make friends, get support, educate themselves and others, and learn to advocate for those in the disability community. It is an inclusive and safe space for those with a variety of disabilities from different backgrounds with varying levels of ability. This chapter is part of a national organization, DREAM, that allows us to connect with college students across the country. Our focus is not on finding or fundraising for a cure to disabilities, but rather to provide support for students with disabilities.
DREAM's mission is to help support college students with disabilities. It provides community, activism, education, and support. Our chapter aims to educate our community about disability-related issues and ensure students receive equal access in college. The information contained on student organization webpages was submitted by each student organization during the student organization registration process. Student organizations must follow university policies and procedures including requirements for membership, participation and general activities.
