Wall of Fame Banquet 2014

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of numerous students, esteemed alumni and supporters of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ during its annual Wall of Fame Honors Award Banquet.

Dr. Stephen Nameth, dean of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Columbiana County campuses, welcomed the students, esteemed guests, their families and several faculty members, while emphasizing the important role each relationship plays in measuring success at a university. He also acknowledged the many first generation college students at the event, himself included, and the importance of bridging that gap.

There is a new – and modern – way for students on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Salem and East Liverpool campuses to get advice from a mental health expert: the Minutes 4 Mental Health podcast.

Penny Minor, Ph.D., is the counseling specialist for the Columbiana County campuses who hosts a weekly podcast that she launched at the beginning of the semester. So far, more than 100 students are registered as listeners and, as word gets out, more are joining that list.
