The ϲ Salem Communiversity Choir will present its annual holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. in the ϲ Salem City Center auditorium located at 230 North Lincoln Street Salem, OH 44460.
The free public concert will feature the blended voices of ϲ students, faculty and community members as they present “A Family Christmas,” under the direction of Mel Fucci, music instructor at ϲ Salem. The featured soloist this year is Marla Berg, assistant professor of voice and director of the ϲ opera program.
Following the concert, the Creative Learning Center: The Salem Storybook Museum Revisited will host a reception in its first-floor location within the City Center with cookies, hot chocolate, a visit from Santa and a display showcasing its collection of original illustrations from children’s books.
ϲ Salem students from the early childhood education program will host a craft station for children.
Collection boxes will be set up for donations of new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine’s Toys for Tots campaign.
